The Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force released its final report at last Thursday night’s Assembly of Governments meeting, laying out a timeline for providing water and sewage that Rev. Robert Campbell, co-chair of the Rogers-Eubanks Coalition to End Environmental Racism, says he is “well pleased with.” Now comes the business of finding grant money to get the work done.

Prior to discussion of the report by the Assembly of Governments, comprised of the Orange County Board of Commissioners and the town boards of the county’s municipalities, Rev. Campbell submitted a petition and proposed resolution calling for OWASA water and sewer connections to all residences in the Rogers-Eubanks community presently without functioning connections.
